At Powerful Word Church (PWC) we are servants of Christ and humble ourselves before him.


"We love the Lord and his people, and our genuine desire is to please and serve God. We have been commissioned to go forth and lift up the blood-stained banner in Jesus' name; in obedience to the voice of God, we will forge forward to do Gods will and lead as many souls to Christ as possible.


It is our sincere wish to lead as many souls to Christ as possible by following the Lord's guidance in our lives."

What we believe

"

Our Belief Continued- Inspired by the Holy Ghost

We believe that just saying you are a christian is not enough but that being a true Christian means to be Christ-like and that it is not just enough to know the word or quote the scriptures, but we must live by them, (James 1-22) exemplifying the fruits of the Spirit, which are:

Galatians 5:22-23 joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance and above all love that covers a multitude of sin. to a world that is lost and to our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. 



We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2-1-39) and that after the Holy Ghost has come upon you, you shall receive power from on high. 


We declare and decree that we are soldiers in the Army of the Lord and understand and know that it is imperative to arm ourselves accordingly by putting on the whole armor of GOD.

(Ephesians 6-11-18.)


We understand that there will be many spiritual battles but that our GOD has already one the war we believe and declare and decree that


(Isaiah 54:17)  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.


We believe in the five fold ministry, the operation of the Gifts of the Spirit and working together as one in unity. (1 Corinthians 12-31) and that there are many members but one body, But now are they many members, yet but one body. 

We believe in submitting to GOD and his Spirit, and coming together to praise, worship, and magnify his name. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together. (Hebrews 10:25 KJV)

We believe in lifting our brothers and sisters up in prayer and encouraging one another. We do not believe in backbiting but we believe in love for love covers a multitude of sins.


We believe in the conviction of GOD, NOT the condemnation of man.


We believe that God's word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path and that we can not apply some of the word to our lives without applying it all.


We believe in the wholistic man-women and that God's people should not lack but operate in the abundance of God's spiritual and natural blessings. (John 3 -1-2 King James Bible)

Is to evoke change in our community and the lives of the people within our communities while standing on both Gods Logos (his written word) and his Rhema (the personal words spoken in the ears of our Spirit as it flows from the heart of God). This world needs change, and we have a steadfast mind to stand on the Word of GOD (the Bible) to be a part the difference this world needs for the good. 


At Powerful Word Church our mission is to change lives for the kingdom of God for all people. in our children, in our schools, our youth and teens, in families, in single family households and in non believers.

Pastor Trey is  the Chief Levite of Powerful Word Church and his been in ministry for over 29 years. Is a succesful business owner and has a financial services background  xxxx Starting as a brother in the Lord, then serving as a Deacon, for over xxxx years and then serving as an Asst Pastor for xxxxx.  becoming a Deacon in 1995. Climbing the ranks as Deacon, Minister, Chief Levite, Pastor Williams is a faithful, dedicated Servant. He is the Husband to Lady Nieesha Williams and the doting Father of 3 daughters. Pastor Trey is very astute in his ability to Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity, wisdom and understanding. A Warrior of Prayer. A Faith builder, His Profundity leaves you wanting the Next Move of God!

A Message from Lady Williams

Exec. Pastor Nieesha Williams is a dynamic and passionate ordained minister dedicated to serving and empowering God's people. At Powerful Word Church, she plays a pivotal role in shepherding the congregation, offering spiritual guidance, and fostering an environment of growth, healing, and transformation.


Founded in 2023, Powerful Word Church began as a Bible study held in her and her husband's home every Tuesday with just five attendees, which included their children. Through faith and dedication, Wednesdays were added for Prayer, and the gathering quickly grew to approximately 50-60 people. The Lord was truly moving, souls were being saved, delivered, set free, and filled with the Holy Spirit, to God be all glory. With no room to accommodate everyone, they stepped out in faith, trusting God to provide a space for worship, and God opened a door for them—a place of worship to call home, giving to them from the Lord. "Powerful Word Church—Changing Lives for the Kingdom!"


Lady Williams has served in nearly every capacity within the church, including roles such as Usher, Member of the Street Ministry Team, Missionary, Sunday School Teacher, Worship Leader, Media and Graphics Praise Dance Ministry Dancer, Choreographer, and Minister.


With a deep love for God's Word and a heart for ministry, Nieesha's leadership approach is characterized by compassion, wisdom, and a commitment to helping individuals connect with their purpose in Christ. She effectively combines biblical teaching with practical life applications, inspiring others to walk confidently in their faith.


In addition to her pastoral duties, Exec. Pastor is a mentor, entrepreneur, and advocate for those in need. She is well-known for her encouraging messages, uplifting presence, and relentless drive to help people grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.


Partnering with her husband, Senior Pastor Tremayne L. Williams, Nieesha is devoted to discipling the congregation of Powerful Word Church with vision and passion. Together, they aim to make a positive impact on their community and beyond by spreading the Gospel and cultivating a culture of love, service, and empowerment—truly "Changing Lives for the Kingdom."


Exec. Pastor Nieesha Williams is a wife, mother, grandmother, and trusted leader whose deep commitment to God and His people continues to inspire and transform lives.
