"We love the Lord and his people, and our genuine desire is to please and serve God. We have been commissioned to go forth and lift up the blood-stained banner in Jesus' name; in obedience to the voice of God, helping to change lives by bringing as many possible to Christ as possible while helping the commuinity by providing programs, events, a safe space for younf people and most of all the word of God that is able to save even the most way ward lost.

Our Belief Continued- Inspired by the Holy Ghost

We understand that there will be many spiritual battles but that our GOD has already one the war we believe and declare and decree that

About Senior Pastor Williams

Pastor Trey Williams serves as the visionary leader of Powerful Word Church, a dynamic ministry passionately committed to changing lives and cultivating profound spiritual transformation. With an impressive background reflecting over 32 years in various facets of ministry, his journey stands as a testament to dedication, service, and unwavering faith in God.

Early Journey & Calling

Trey’s story is one marked by humble beginnings and a faithful ascent within the church community. He first began his service in the church as a "brother in the Lord," embracing the call to contribute to the spiritual growth of those around him. His commitment led him to serve many years as a deacon, starting in 1995, and later as an assistant pastor. This foundational experience paved the way for him to step into full pastoral leadership at Powerful Word Church, where he now guides and nurtures a vibrant congregation.

In addition to his pastoral roles, Pastor Trey possesses a solid background in business and financial services and is an accomplished entrepreneur. This diverse experience equips him to effectively apply strategic insights in his pastoral and organizational leadership at Powerful Word Church, further enhancing its mission to extend its reach in the community.

Pastoral Ministry & Vision

As the Chief Levite and Pastor of Powerful Word Church, Trey passionately brings clarity, wisdom, and an inspiring warrior’s spirit to his preaching. His ability to "rightly divide the Word of truth like a surgeon with a scalpel" ensures that congregants leave each service not just informed but also spiritually invigorated, eagerly anticipating the next move of God in their lives.

Pastor Trey is the husband of Lady Nieesha Williams and the father of four.

Pastor Trey has been anointed and blessed by God to flow in the prophetic, being used to speak words of Wisdom, Knowledge, and prophecy into hundreds of lives, as the Lord sees fit.

However, he does not take this call or anointing for granted; he humbly accepts it and consistently asks God to sharpen him to edify, encourage, and, at times, bring the body of Christ into order.

Nieesha Williams stands as a vibrant and influential ministry leader at Powerful Word Church, where her dynamic presence, deep compassion, and unwavering commitment fuel a culture of transformation and hope.

She has been described by the church as a “dynamic and passionate ordained minister dedicated to serving and empowering God’s people.” Powerful Word Church

Roots & Rise.

Nieesha’s spiritual journey is marked by active service and growth within the church body. She went from participating as an usher to engaging in nearly every ministry department: street ministry, Sunday school teaching, worship leadership, media & graphics, praise dance — and eventually into ordained ministry and a leadership role.

In 2023, alongside her husband Trey Williams and what began as a Tuesday‐night Bible study of just five people, Nieesha helped launch Powerful Word Church. That home gathering evolved quickly: a Wednesday prayer meeting was added; soon it grew to 50-60 people, then they stepped out in faith to secure a worship space. Powerful Word Church

In her capacity as Executive Pastor, Nieesha’s role is multifaceted:

Shepherding & Spiritual Care. She plays a pivotal role in guiding the congregation and fostering an environment where growth, healing, and transformation are real. Powerful Word Church

Ministry Multiplication. With roots in nearly every ministry area (ushur, missionary, Sunday school teacher, worship leader, media & graphics, praise dance), she has built a broad platform of influence and hands‐on leadership.

Mentor & Advocate. Beyond Sunday services, Nieesha is a mentor, entrepreneur, and advocate—equipping others to walk confidently in their faith, their purpose, and their fullness in Christ. Powerful Word Church

Practical & Prophetic. Her approach blends clear biblical teaching with practical application—helping people live the Word, not just know it.

Nieesha’s ministry posture is one of service, empowerment, and community impact. She believes deeply in:

“I love the Lord and I won't take it back, I told the Lord at 19, Lord, if you fill me with your spirit, I will serve you for the rest of my life, and by the grace of God, I'm still here. Salvation is a journey full of ups and downs, but He said He will never leave us or forsake us, and I'm so grateful that He first loved me. I have a deep love for God’s Word and a heart for ministry … I am committed to helping individuals dive deep and connect with their purpose in Christ.” So, their lives are not only changed, but also their families' and future children's lives as well."
